The client

People, Planet, Pint has evolved from a spontaneous gathering at COP26 in Glasgow to a global movement, uniting more than 11,000people across 500 events in 90 cities. Their mission is straightforward yet with real purpose: to create a welcoming space where sustainability and green ideas can be shared over a pint (or a pastry!).

The challenge

The growth of People, Planet, Pint, like their mindset, has been very sustainable. But with their biggest event coming up - a nationwide series of meet-ups across more than 20 cities and towns - they needed help to execute a nationwide and localised press campaign. 

Tasked with amplifying their message, our challenge was to design and implement a strategic media outreach plan that resonated with both local and national audiences. The goal was to secure coverage across diverse media outlets while effectively engaging regional stakeholders.

The results

We created a localised database of key media targets and a range of adaptable press releases that local partners could use for their events. 

We then built a range of personalised press lists across traditional print and digital media, podcast hosts, talk radio, TV and more and sent bespoke pitches tailored to their target audience. 

The press campaign generated significant traction, with dozens of features and placements across influential regional print and digital publications. Alongside that, thanks to placements in specialised business and sustainability channels, we were able to further consolidate People, Planet, Pint's presence within the targeted regions and amplify their message on a broader scale.
