While a lot of podcasts are uploaded to YouTube, there is currently no dedicated podcast section. However, it has been hinted that the platform may be getting a dedicated podcast homepage.
The change should result in a better uptake for clients shows, and add a new layer of potential for advertising.
Users now don’t need a separate IGTV app to watch longer videos. The experience is embedded in the main app, accessed via in-feed teasers, a tab of the Explore page, promo stickers in Stories, and profile tabs.
