Instagram Introduces Subscriptions
Creators will be able to receive support directly from their communities with users able to access exclusive content and benefits for a monthly fee. This is a feature that has been available to USA Facebook creators since 2020, but Meta are now rolling it out to their other platforms.Â
This is very similar to the Patreon model and we think this is a good move forward to support creators and help them make a sustainable income natively in the app.
