KTC, Britain's largest distributor of edible oils and fats, have long been sustainable champions. So we were delighted when they approached us with an idea to create the world’s first unashamedly pro-palm product.
Working alongside KTC, we created Planet Palm, an instantly recognisable brand designed to change the preconceptions around palm oil, and promote the use of certified sustainable solutions in food service, bakery, food manufacturing and frying.
Palm oil has long had negative connotations due to its over-farming and deforestation. But, farmed responsibly, it’s the most efficient vegetable oil in the world.
Planet Palm was created to help customers choose responsibly sourced palm oil with confidence that they are making an ethical, sustainable purchase. All palm oil in the planet Palm Range is Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) certified sustainable segregated, offering traceability back to the refineries.
We designed a range of different colourways and product packaging and built a sustainable-first TOV that resonated with the audience.
Our press campaign was a huge success. We secured features and coverage across all the key target trade media platforms, reaching a combined digital and print audience of over 750,000, including high-profile placements in The Grocer, Food Manufacture and FoodBev.
It was another impressive year for sustainability software company Axiom, as they continued to grow both their client base and their team.
We were with them every step of the way, helping them maximise their growth with a series of features and articles across key media publications. These included placements in Sustainability Magazine, Raconteur and Inside Sustainability. Plus, Axiom co-founder Daniel Usifoh looked into the future for Retail Times as he discussed the possibility of carbon labelling on food products.
Alongside that, we wrote a series of blogs, news pieces, creative assets and a social media strategy, helping to communicate the benefits of their specialised software and grow their client base.
Bioshield is one of the leading natural cleaning solutions suppliers in the UK. The company uses a waste product - in this case leftover pith and peel from the orange juice industry - to create a non-toxic, environmentally friendly and naturally biodegradable solution that’s as effective and cost-efficient as traditional chemical cleaners.
They’ve had some key success, having worked with major retailers such as Tesco and Sainsbury’s, in addition to a number of supply chain and logistics companies.
We continued to support Bioshield by running a targeted media relations campaign designed to raise the profile of the company, educate the market about the benefits of natural cleaning solutions and position Bioshield founder Brent Stansfield as a thought-leader in the green cleaning revolution.
That work included high-profile features and thought-leadership pieces in key media publications including Food Manafacture, Food Processing, Tomorrow’s Cleaning, Logistics Manager, Food and Beverage, Cleaning Hygiene Today, Food and Drink Technology and more.
Booming sustainability meet-up People, Planet, Pint has grown from a spur-of-the-moment meet-up at COP26 into a truly global affair, with events across the UK, Europe, America and Asia. Their idea is a winningly simple one - to bring people together from all walks of life to discuss sustainability and green ideas over a pint.
That idea resonated with the UK public, as they hosted more than 35 UK meet-ups to coincide with COP28 in December 2023.
We partnered with People, Planet, Pint to coordinate and run their press campaign. This involved creating a series of press releases for international and local markets, targeted key media outlets and built bespoke press lists and pitching documents for regional promoters to target.
We achieved dozens of print and digital features across key regional publications and targeted business and sustainability outlets.
