Stories now has a captions sticker that will automatically transcribe speech in videos. This is currently only available in English and English speaking countries with other languages to be rolled out later. 

This isn’t just a beneficial addition for users who are D/deaf – it will likely increase retention time on the platform in situations where viewers are unable to listen to audio.
