Twitter Continues it’s Focus on eCommerce with Shopping Modules

Twitter has been testing new features as part of its wider business push over the last 12 months. This has included paid subscriptions and Professional Profiles for brands - focusing on eCommerce integration and ways to generate revenue.  


Their latest feature, a Shop Module, is a dedicated space at the top of the profile where brands will be able to showcase their products in a carousel format. 


It’s unclear if this will be a paid feature or free to all business users - but given Twitter’s desire to increase revenue, we feel it is likely to be paid. It could be a useful addition for businesses with a strong following on the platform.
