Following in the footsteps of their competitor Tik Tok, Facebook is launching a new product called Soundbites for short audio clips. They are additionally trialling an audio tab with podcasts, live audio rooms and short form audio.

We think this will be used mostly by podcast creators, people with a musical agenda to push or anyone who is based in audio format as it allows them to capitalise on growth in the podcast market.
