Political Content on Meta
Meta has announced that political censoring is coming to Threads and Instagram.
Once fully launched, Instagram and Threads users will have to manually opt into seeing political content on their feed by going through settings and choosing ‘Don’t Limit’ under political content.Â
Instagram chief Adam Mosseri explains that accounts that regularly post political content will likely experience an account-level restriction, which may reduce reach.
