With the emergence of NFTs and digital collectibles, Instagram is experimenting with new features to boost interaction in the app. 

Firstly, there is the new Stories option - Fan Club. This allows users to post exclusive Stories content that can only be viewed by followers of the Fan Club or an approved group. 

Secondly, they have introduced Collectibles. This taps into the current NFT buzz by allowing users to bid on digital items in-stream. 

Both features will give creators the tools to monetise their platform efforts, either through paid fan groups or selling their digital products in an auction style format.
